MEDICATION MANAGEMENT

Psychiatric medication management can be a vital part of mental health care. We provide personalized assessment to find the right medication for you. We review your medical history and preferences to foster a collaborative environment.

Sleep Medicine CONSULTATION

Sleep medicine consultation includes a comprehensive review of a patient’s sleep history to help identify sleep disorders such as sleep apnea, insomnia, and parasomnia. A personalized treatment plan is developed with a focus on hollistic care. Our pediatric sleep specialist is proud to provide this service to children, adolescents, young adults, and adults.

Individual Psychotherapy

Therapy and psychiatric medication management together enhance mental wellness. Therapy explores thoughts and emotions, while medication management assesses and prescribes treatments for symptoms. At our practice, we believe that integrating therapy and medication offers a comprehensive approach to resilience and emotional well-being.

In-home sleep studies

After a comprehensive sleep medicine evaluation, in-home sleep studies are available for patients as part of their assessment. Using the Sleep Image Ring, both children and adult patients can conduct a sleep study in the comfort of their own home and bed. Our staff physician will interpret the sleep study and generate a report.

Psychiatric CONSULTATION

At Serenity Mental health, all patients undergo a consultation process that includes a comprehensive psychiatric evaluation. This helps us formulate a personalized treatment plan for you mental health needs. After the consultation is complete, you will discuss recommendations for treatment with our skilled providers.

Group Therapy

For those seeking therapy as well as group support, group therapy offers a community and space for those who are experiencing similar life transitions or challenges. It allows for a space to understand and learn from shared experiences.

Neuropsychological Testing

This is a comprehensive evaluation of brain-based skills including attention, memory, learning, problem-solving, language, and emotional functioning

Insurance and payment

Blue Cross Blue Shield (BCBS) and Anthem
We are in network with in-state and out-of-state BCBS plans. Depending on your insurance plan, fee coverage varies. We encourage all inquiries to reach out to their insurance directly regarding their coverage.

Out-of-network (OON) and Self Pay
If you have non-BCBS insurance, your insurer may cover OON treatment. HMO plans, however, do not cover OON services.

Examples of insurance plans (PPO/POS) that cover OON therapy for our clients:

  • Aetna

  • Allways/Mass General Brigham

  • Cigna

  • Harvard Pilgrim

  • Optum

  • Point32Health

  • UnitedHealthcare (UHC)

  • Tufts

Out-of-network PPO/POS plans typically reimburse clients for 50-80% of session costs, with some plans covering 100% of the costs. You also have the option to self pay privately regardless of your insurance coverage.

Sleep Image Ring Studies for individuals under 18 years old are self pay only. A separate fee will be charged for sleep device utilization.

We encourage all inquiries to reach out to their insurers for specific details regarding their plan. If you are OON, all services will be self paid at the time of service. A Superbill will be provided for services rendered and can be submitted to your insurer. Before treatment, you will also receive a Good Faith Estimate, which includes the total cost of services.

Fee schedule is available upon inquiry and request.

Cancellations/No-Show

If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, please notify us at least 24 hours in advance of your scheduled appointment. You will be charged $200 if you fail to notify The Practice twenty four (24) hours in advance of your scheduled session that you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment or if you do not attend your scheduled appointment. This is necessary because a time commitment is made to you and that time is held exclusively for you. If you are late for a session, you may lose some of that session time.  If you fail to attend two scheduled sessions, we may cease providing services to you after giving you written notice of this decision.

Difficulty Paying

Please notify your provider right away if you are unable to pay and we can discuss if there are any alternative solutions such as a payment plan, or we may refer you to other therapy services which may be lower- or no-cost.
